We build the thing
you can’t quite
describe yet.

Logic Sheep is a small software consultancy. We take fuzzy problems — new products, legacy messes, ideas that so far only exist in a doc — and turn them into software that actually runs. Games too, when the work calls for it.

Services

Two ways to work with us.

Most engagements start as one and grow into the other. Both are scoped up front, with a fixed price and a date attached.

Software consulting

Senior hands on your product, from architecture through to the parts nobody wants to touch. We work inside your repo, your standards, your review process.

  • Web apps, APIs and the systems behind them
  • Architecture and technical direction
  • Legacy rescue, migrations and refactors
  • Code review and technical due diligence

Prototyping & R&D

A short, fixed engagement that ends in a working answer instead of a slide deck. Useful when the question is "can this even be done?"

  • Proof-of-concept builds
  • Time-boxed spikes with a written recommendation
  • Technical feasibility and cost studies
  • Game and interaction prototypes

Also available: fractional technical leadership, team mentoring, and second opinions on work already in flight.

How it works

Three steps, no theatre.

  1. 01

    Send a paragraph

Email what you are building and roughly when you need it. No forms, no discovery call to book a discovery call.

  2. 02

    Scope and a fixed quote

You get a written plan, a price, and a date — usually within two business days. If the work is not a fit, we say so and point you somewhere better.

  3. 03

    Build in the open

Work lands in your repository from week one. Weekly demos, visible progress, and code you own outright when it ships.

The studio

Small on purpose.

Logic Sheep is deliberately tiny. You work directly with the person writing the code, not an account manager relaying messages to a team you never meet. That means fewer projects at a time, faster decisions, and straight answers about what is and isn’t worth building.

The work splits between business software — the apps, services and integrations companies run on — and game design, which is where a lot of the interesting problems hide. The two feed each other more than you’d expect.

Based in Austin, Texas. Working with teams anywhere.
